The brains behind SeatrackBox, and the man who initiated the project. After studying maintenance and industrial automation, and having been in love with the sea since he was very young, he trained in the marine industry. This specialisation allowed him to set up his own shipyard after working in the food industry, and in transmission and communication technology, among other things. He came up with the idea of the SeatrackBox after reading an article in the regional press about containers that fell into sea not far offshore. Curious, enterprising, and bold, he researched the topic and became convinced that a solution was there to be developed. In addition to the opening market, this altruist sees the SEATRACKBOX as “a common interest for the whole world in terms of maritime safety and environmental protection”.

The conductor of the team. His background includes IT, finance, commerce and recently a Master’s degree in marketing. He has worked as a trainer, asset manager, estate agent, and sales manager for various companies. A quick mind, a silver tongue, and the ability to adapt to any challenge makes him a seasoned professional, who is never short of ideas for overcoming challenges. He got the SEATRACKBOX machine up and running thanks to his network. He brought in the talent that forms the team he now leads. "What appealed to me was that the SEATRACKBOX concept, though simple, addresses a real problem and opens up a huge market."

He is responsible for all the legal and financial aspects of the project. With a Master’s degree in Economics and a diploma from the Institute of Finance and Insurance, he has spent most of his professional career in banking and finance in his home city of Paris. A small change of direction propelled him into the hotel industry in regional France for a few years, working as a CFO. Because he “seizes opportunities”. This is what characterises this "pensioner" in name only: he has the nose to sniff out successful opportunities. He is very active in the voluntary sector, and has a taste for new things and challenges. "SEATRACKBOX is a great idea, a great project, with good people. And beyond that, a beautiful challenge."
